Pinus Koraiensis in indigenous to eastern Asia: Korea, Manchuria, Mongolia, far eastern Russia, and central Japan. Pinus Sibirica is indigenous to Siberia. Pinus Yunnanensis in indigenous to the Yunnan region of China. Pinus Gerardiana is indigenous to the Northwestern Himalaya region. China produces the vast majority of the world’s production of pinenut production at 55%, followed by Russia, Pakistan and Korea.
